Terms of payments
(March 1, 2010 to February 28, 2011)
Rates and method of payment : -
The rental prices of the villas are listed in euro per night, including government tax.
NB : Prices are subject to change due to exchange rate fluctuations or amendments to existing legislation in the country.
Check-in from 12 pm and Check-Out at 10 am, if the villa is vacant, Blue Point will arrange for the client to keep the house until the time of departure.
The booking will be confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit of total price plus 16 euros for documentation fees. The deposit must be received at the latest 7 days for confirmation, to certify the payment a copy of bank transfer must be immediately faxed or email to BP.
The balance due must be paid at the latest 45 days prior to the client’s arrival.
If those payment terms are not respected, BP will reserve the right to cancel reservations unless the customer does provide serious reasons.
The price of the villa is for the number of person at the time of booking. It is strictly forbidden to sublet or accept other clients without BP’s approval.

Cancellation and modification fee :
All cancellations must be confirmed to Blue-Point in written before the scheduled arrival date.
Cancellation fees are calculated as a percentage of the total rental fees;
From 6 months and more: 20% of the total cost
Less than six months to 45 days: 30% of the total cost
Less than 45 days: 50% of the total cost
Less than 20 days: 100% of the total cost
The customer cannot claim any compensation for cancellation due to inevitable reasons such as force majeure or security.
Responsibilities :
The villas have been selected with great attention and care by Blue Point. These residences are duly registered or currently being registered with the Mauritian authorities concerned.
However Blue Point only acts as an intermediary agent between the customer and the owner of the villa and cannot in any case be held liable for any accidents that may occur during the guests' stay by faulty construction or equipment of the villa. Blue Point will not be held responsible for any loss of money, objects, or others.
Blue Point recommends that children are properly monitored especially when staying in villas with swimming pool and decline all responsibilities in case of accident.
Blue-Point disclaims any liability for defects or failures due to reasons of force majeure on the water supply and / or electricity, or in case of cyclones.
If for reasons beyond our control, the selected villa can’t be rented we reserve the right to find an alternative accommodation of equal value. However we may refuse if the expenses are too high.
If the number of people in the villa exceeds the number of people determined by the contract at the booking time and if the clients does not abide to the local laws, we reserve the right to ask tenants to leave immediately without notice and refund. If any damage should occur during the stay, the client will immediately communicate to Blue Point and pay or replace the goods, the client, who signed the arrival formalities is responsible for the behavior of party.
If the client decides to leave the villa voluntarily, no refunds will be made.
Sports activities and vehicle rentals are at the customer’s own risks.
Please note that Blue Point cannot be liable for any delays or cancellations of flights.
Insurance :
Blue-Point strongly recommends to take an adequate travel insurance before departure.
